Walther Round Table

Join CHI for the annual Walther Roundtable on Thursday, May 11th from 9:25 to 2:00pm! We’ll start out the day with chapel service at the seminary and proceed to a lively series of lectures relating to first president of the Missouri Synod C.F.W. Walther. There is a free-will offering for the luncheon. See the schedule to the left for more information.

Auxiliary Spring Lecture and Luncheon

The Auxiliary of Concordia Historical Institute Spring 2023 luncheon and presentationJoin the Auxiliary of the Concordia Historical Institute for their annual spring lecture and luncheon! Rev. Dr. Ken Schurb, Mission Executive of the Central Illinois District and editor of the upcoming CHI monograph on the 1974 Walkout, will lead a rousing discussion of the 1973 LCMS Convention in New Orleans.

Exhibit Now Open!

The Sadao Watanabe exhibit, A Kimono-Wrapped Gospel, is now open to the public! Join us in the main exhibit hall on-site at CHI to check out this incredible and inspiring exhibit on faith and art in post-war Japan. The exhibit is open from 9:00am–3:00pm every weekday or by appointment.
